Marilyn Poliquin

Marilyn is a native Californian who at an early age began to draw.  As an only child art was her companion, it was a natural thing to do, developing into a way of life.  She received a degree in art from Orange Coast College going on to the University of California to obtain a Bachelors degree in Art.

Marilyn's paintings reflect her love of color found in the garden.  Being inspired by the French impressionists she often combines fruit and vegetables with flowers to create her impressions.  She feels painting is like magic and enjoys the challenge of creating a painting from a blank white canvas.  Currently Marilyn paints and teaches in her studio in Newport Beach.
